The objective of this project was to raise awareness for an event by exploring unconventional uses of materials and strategies integral to the concept. The goal was to develop and design a suite of compelling communication materials tailored to a specific audience and client.

For my chosen client, I selected Delta Gamma and their philanthropic partner, the Anchor Center for Blind Children. Delta Gamma’s philanthropy, “Service for Sight,” already supports and raises funds for numerous schools for the blind across the country.

Recently I attended the Lewis Institute, a leadership conference that brought together young women from across the nation. While working on this assignment, I was inspired by the experience and thought, What if there were a conference dedicated to raising awareness and funds specifically for the Anchor Center for Blind Children?

From that idea, Anchor in Sight was born, a concept for an event that would unite young women nationwide to make a tangible difference for this incredible cause.
