Fun Fact: After I graduate college, one of my biggest goals is to travel the entire U.S. and visit every national park. That love for adventure and the outdoors really began to grow during my freshman year of college, when I was living in Southern Utah, just a few hours from some of the country’s most iconic landscapes.

This is a spread I created as part of a 12-page personal project in one of my advertising classes. The assignment was open-ended, so I chose to showcase the places I explored that first year, from red rock canyons to quiet desert trails. The layout blends photography, minimal typography, and thoughtful composition to mirror the wide-open feeling of being out on the road.

This project was not only a reflection of my journey and personal growth, but also a chance to practice visual storytelling, something I’m passionate about incorporating into all of my design work. Every page in the spread is a snapshot of movement, memory, and freedom—things I hope to keep chasing long after graduation.
