I was never too interested in printmaking until I took a class on it. At first, it felt unfamiliar and rigid compared to the expressive styles I was used to. But as I started to understand the process—the layering, the textures, the unpredictability of the ink—I realized that printmaking had so much more to show than I ever expected. The ink became more than just a medium; it became a voice. And through it, I discovered I had so much more to say.

As I continued exploring, I began to merge printmaking with one of my favorite mediums: collage. Slowly but intentionally, I started layering paper, fabric, and texture into my prints. This combination allowed me to build depth, both visually and conceptually. It created space for spontaneity and storytelling, blending the structured process of printmaking with the expressive freedom of collage. Now, my work lives in this intersection—between control and chaos, precision and play. It’s where I feel most at home as an artist.
