Rendezvous in the Park was an incredible opportunity. Working with a real-world client who was genuinely passionate about their mission and excited about the creative process was wonderful. Designing a poster for a music and arts festival was definitely outside of my comfort zone, but that made the challenge even more rewarding. I pulled inspiration from Y2K aesthetics, think bold gradients, playful typography, and nostalgic graphic elements. I let these elements guide the tone of my design.
Throughout the process, I stayed in close communication with the client, working through feedback and ensuring their key asks were met. I paid attention to everything from sponsor visibility to messaging sentiment. In the end, the final design struck a balance between fun, energetic, and polished. I walked away proud of the outcome and confident in my ability to push personal creative boundaries.
