Tamarack Grove Engineering
5/20/25-8/22/25 Marketing Internship
Tamarack Grove Engineering was my first in-house marketing internship, and it has been a valuable opportunity to apply my design and communication skills in a professional setting. I managed the company's social media through Sprout, created and scheduled content across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn to maintain a consistent and engaging online presence. I also organized and formatted newsletters for publication on the company website, keeping clients and partners informed of company updates, projects, and industry news.
In addition to regular updates, I helped to maintain and enhance the website by uploading new content, refreshing visuals, and improving overall functionality. I also took on more creative projects, including developing short-form video content like reels, and exploring current trends to help the company connect with a broader and more dynamic audience. This role has allowed me to gain hands-on experience in brand voice development, digital marketing, and content strategy while contributing to the growth and visibility of a respected engineering firm.
Favorite Daughter Media
2/7/25-5/5/25 Content Marketing Intern
This internship gave me hands-on experience in marketing and content strategy, with weekly check-ins with Sara Lohse to discuss progress, next steps, and client updates. I had the opportunity to work across multiple areas, including content creation, social media support, and marketing strategy—all within the dynamic world of podcasting and brand storytelling.
As part of the content team, I helped upload video podcast files to Spotify, a detailed and precise process that ensures quality and consistency. I assisted in writing captions and scripts for social posts, and brainstormed ideas for engaging brand content, including podcast cover art. On the social media side, I helped design and build templates, planned posting schedules, and researched trends to boost engagement. I also assisted lightly with performance tracking and analytics. In marketing strategy, I supported content calendar planning, conducted light competitor and audience research, and helped maintain a consistent brand voice across channels. Throughout this internship, I gained exposure to tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Excel, Canva, and Castmagic, while learning from experienced creatives in a fully remote, collaborative environment.
Cascade Golf Course
5/20/24-7/25/24 Social Media Manegment
At Cascade Golf Course, I started working at the front desk in the pro shop, but after mentioning that I was a graphic design major, I was quickly given more responsibilities. I updated the website using FourUp, created and sent out digital newsletters, and managed the course’s Facebook and Instagram accounts. I designed content to promote events, communicate course updates, and engage the golf community in a visually appealing and professional way.
Alongside the design work, I continued running the pro shop during the busy summer season, signed up players for tournaments, and helped coordinate and manage the events themselves. This experience allowed me to blend creative design with customer service, marketing, and event management—giving me a hands-on understanding of how my skills can be applied in real-world business settings.
